Showboat Branson Belle Sails on High Waters Daily

04/25/2008

Showboat Branson Belle Lets Visitors
Experience Record Table Rock Lake Levels
Branson's Premier Lake Dining Experience
Sails on High Waters with Daily Cruises

Released: (Branson, Mo. 4/24/08)

In what might be a chance of a lifetime, the Showboat Branson Belle gives guests the opportunity to be on Table Rock Lake during this history-making time of record lake levels.

In an interesting twist, while cruisers are witnessing high waters that will be recorded in our future history books, the theme of the great Showboat sends guests back in time to celebrate the era of the 1890s paddlewheel riverboats.

"It’s like living a double-dose of history," said Showboat General Manager Jim Moeskau. "Guests are still receiving the full Showboat presentation while describing time spent on deck as an awesome experience." Moeskau says crews made adjustments to the loading process so the high water has not caused any cancellations.

The 700-seat paddlewheeler offers lunch and dinner cruises on Table Rock Lake. The show, Showstoppers! features entertainers from around the world, from the Russian Adagio dance team to world-class musicians. Evening cruises feature comedian and ventriloquist Todd Oliver with his cast of wise-cracking canines

Cruises sail through New Year's Eve. All cruises run approximately two hours and 15 minutes, and begin at noon, 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. For ticket information, schedules, complete menus and reservations, call 1-800-775-BOAT. Information and ticketing are also available at www.showboatbransonbelle.com
