Showboat Branson Belle - One-of-a-Kind Branson Experience

03/10/2007
The Showboat Branson Belle In Branson, Missouri!
A Spectacular Cruise and Dining Experience!

Elegant Dining, Beautiful Cruise and Spectacular Show

Released: Branson, Mo. 2/07

Bringing together comedy and elegance, the Showboat Branson Belle launches its 12th season immersing Branson visitors in the unique showmanship for which great American showboats were famous. The Showboat Branson Belle features elegant dining, a beautiful cruise on Table Rock Lake and a spectacular show presenting the quirky comedy of ventriloquist Todd Oliver with his trio of talking dogs. The 700-seat authentic paddlewheeler offers two-hour lunch and dinner cruises on Table Rock Lake.

Branson's grandest lake experience, the Showboat Branson Belle features a three-course meal, a show presenting nearly 50 all-time favorite tunes and a scenic cruise. The unique character of the Showboat Branson Belle is what sets it apart from other Branson entertainment, with each dining cruise featuring world-class entertainment - the only entertainment of its kind in mid-America.

"High-quality shows and entertainment are what the Branson area is known for, and we continually try to raise the bar," said Showboat Branson Belle General Manager Jim Moskeau. "The Showboat Branson Belle combines a cast of talented singers and dancers with a world-class adagio dance team and comedians to present a full production show. Add to that a cruise on Table Rock Lake and the dining experience, and you've got the most unique show in Branson."

The Showstoppers! show features a cast of talented singers and dancers performing hits from Broadway to the big screen, from "Phantom of the Opera" to "Grease." Evening cruises feature comedian and ventriloquist Todd Oliver and his cast of wise-cracking canines. Todd and his troupe have been featured on such national TV shows as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Show with David Letterman. Lunch and Sunday cruises present comedic magician Christopher Greenamyer.

All meals are freshly prepared onboard in the Showboat Branson Belle's galley and served by a first-class wait staff. The dinner menu includes a main course of Admiral's Choice Braised Beef in demi-glacé sauce and Chicken Cordon Royale, with a lemon berry tort dessert.

Premium dining experiences are available for small groups or those celebrating special occasions. In the Paddle Wheel Club Room, guests dine overlooking the ship's paddle wheels in a more private dining area. The guests select dinner from a menu including grilled Mahi Mahi with shrimp, Captain's special-cut rib-eye steak, Caribbean stuffed chicken, and a choice of desserts. After dinner, Paddle Wheel Club Room guests are seated in reserved seats in the main dining room for the show. Another option is the Captain's Row, in the first row balcony, where guests enjoy the Showboat Branson Belle main dining room atmosphere as well as menu selections.

The Showboat Branson Belle, Silver Dollar City and White Water, all Silver Dollar City Attractions, were the first properties in Missouri to achieve the prestigious honor of being designated as Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries by Audubon International, for preserving wildlife habitats and conserving natural resources.

Cruises sail from March through New Year's Eve. All cruises run approximately two hours and 15 minutes, and begin at noon, 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Popular Sunday cruises are offered throughout the year at noon and 4:00 p.m. The Showboat is located one-half mile south of Table Rock Dam on Mo. 165.
